Spare time fun

If it is your first time cruising, you may be worried about how you are going to fill your spare time, but rest assured, you will not have a problem doing so once you set sail. Even smaller cruise ships have some form of activity, so both your day and your night can be as busy or as relaxing as you choose.

Many of the bigger cruise ships have onboard casinos, some with online slots with the highest payouts where you can hopefully win a small fortune. Maybe enough to treat yourself to another cruise? you can play a range of games, not just slots, there will be poker tables, roulette and even blackjack. Some cruises will have bingo too which can be fun for the whole family.

While at sea, and on some crises this can be for a full day or more, you will have the chance to try your hand at a range of activities. Depending on the cruise line and the ship itself, as each vary, the range of activities available for passengers can be as simple as shuffleboard on the Lido deck to Cirque du Soleil style performances in the evening. There is truly something everyone can enjoy while on board.

If you need your shopping fix but are not due at port for a while then often there are great stores on board where you can buy a variety of souvenirs for your friends and family back home, clothes (in case you haven’t packed enough!) and a range of duty free items so you might just grab a bargain. Some cruise liners also have designer boutiques and even art galleries.

As you can see there is so much to see and do on a cruise that the term ‘spare time’ will probably not even enter your vocabulary.
